Disability Inclusion: From Possibilities to Practice
Established in 2017, National AccessAbility Awareness Week celebrates and highlights some of the important initiatives aimed at creating an Accessible Canada. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of Canadians with disabilities, to promote accessibility and inclusion across Canada, and to recognize the efforts of communities and workplaces who are removing barriers for individuals with disabilities.
Accessibility is a human right. Everyone should be able to participate in our society, barrier-free.
