Universal Declaration of Human Rights
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

In 2005, the Ontario government passed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, empowering the Ontario government to develop, implement, and enforce accessibility standards.
The AODA goal for full Inclusion, an accessible Ontario, is 1 January 2025.
